Your Landscaping Beds and Islands can get filled with yard debris and trash throughout the Winter months. Plenty of leaves, sticks and trash accumulate in your Landscape Beds over the Winter. Our landscape team will remove all of this debris and haul it away. This gives our landscape crew a fresh starting point before installing mulch or planting new bushes and trees.
Trim and Prune Shrubs and Bushes
During our clean out process we take the time to trim, prune and shape up all of the shrubs, bushes, and smaller trees within your landscaping beds. This process can create quite the mess and we like to get this done before we take the time to put down a fresh coat of mulch.
Weed Preventer
Weeds are always a challenge when trying to have you landscape beds and island always looking nice. During our Spring Clean Up Landscape service we put down a weed preventer before we install the mulch. The weed preventer helps to prevent weed from popping up from under the mulch, but it does not eliminate them permanently for the season. Weed seeds can make it into your landscaping beds from the wind carrying them or birds.
Edge The Landscape Beds
Edging the landscape beds is a very important process when installing mulch. The edge helps to keep the mulch inside the landscape beds rather than spilling into your yard. Our Landscape Crews put a deep edge in the ground by hand with a flat spade or a machine. During this process our team can also price out a rock border or another type of edging material if a customer wants to add this type of feature rather than the grass edging.
Install Mulch
We like to use our own mulch for the majority of our landscape customers. This is an all- natural, double ground, dark brown mulch that we grind ourselves from the materials from the trees we trim and remove in the Northeast Ohio area. Our team of landscapers can install different dyed colored mulch, but we prefer the more eco-friendly natural mulch.
Our landscape estimators can also price stone or rock to install instead of mulch if you are looking for a different look and feel to your landscape.
